Wowa we winning an ARIA - wholly crappola - totally unexpected - thanks for all your support and stoof - we really appreciate!
That was a big night for us during and after the ARIAs - party time!
So we have started our Australian tour already which has been pretty fun - got costumed up last wednesday for halloween which was awesome; Amandah be the Pumpkin, Taylor be the Pirate, Ashley be the Vampire, Sarah be Sneaky Cat Grabby Hands, and Tim be Shinny Pimp Master! Next week we are trekking over to your land for the first time as Operator Please - and it will be Amandah's first time back to her origins since 1997 when she was swept away and exported to Australia - FAST FACTS about Amandah + NZ: Amandah did most of her growing up in New Plymouth, she attended Marfell Kindy, went on to Marfell Community School until the Wilkinsons relocated to Kaiapoi, Christchurch where she attended Kaiapoi Borough School - whilst at school in Christchurch she also starred as the 'Shoe Maker' as part of their year 4 musical - dundunnnahhh!
Point being . . . we will be playing a show in Auckland on Monday the 12th of November - its going to be an early one - us onstage at 7pm at The Rising Sun on K-Road so maybe come down at 6:30pm - wow that is really early hey? Hope yo can make it though! Also if you want to join the team of street peoples for NZ just email rachel@scorpiomusic.com.au .
