Just things...
I have just bought a new canvas and paints.
I haven't painted anything since highschool, so it's good that I actually have enough time now to get back into it now. I think I have gotten a bit ahead of myself though because I didn't realise how big the canvas actually is, so it's going to take me ten times longer to finish. I thought I would be able to handle it but yeah. Writing for the new album has begun and demoing is well into practice. Just got heaps of sweet new synths and synth sounds to muck around with, I found a sweet old school plastic miniature casio at salvos today that works like a treat and has electronic beats on it, I totally thought it would be expensive but I don't think the lady knew what kind of miracle this was, so she charged $3.00 for it! Uh huh. They also had huge church organ with a pump, was so rad but pointless because I would have nowhere to put it.
Just an update for you all on our fav bands at the DANANANANAYKROYD are in progress of recording their debut album, so stay tuned for the exact moment it comes out so that you can get online and buy it. I am so excited, to hear more of them they have new song on their myspace called "Pink Sabbath" and also have tour diaries, well not actual tour diaries - just them doing stupid shit on tour but it's ten times hilarious cause they are Glaswegian and they have the best accents ever. Also if you ever see one of their drummers, well Jon to be exact - wearing golden shoes, make sure you somehow drug him, take advantage and then steal those shoes for me. I will love you forever. I cannot find them anywhere in Australia, I saw them in New Zealand but I'm not going there anytime soon, so it would be much appreciated if you could steal them from him for me. Just don't hurt him cause he's my friend.
In the mean time I will try and find them in Japan. Which on the other hand anybody in Japan - Flamingo Crash will be playing some shows in Tokyo and Osaka, keep checking their myspaces for more details - www.myspace.com/flamingocrash if you ever forget. They will be playing shows and partying and they are alot of fun. I am watching Chris Angel MindFreak as well. Does anybody else think he is not human? I have my theory, I think he is a vampire. Maybe that is only because I have read the Twilight series.
Eh okay. So I am going to get back to my painting and figuring out how to programme this synth properly. Oh and not that you will care but my favourite song right now is "Gravel Pit" by Wu - Tang Clan and also have been listening to alot of Tribe Called Quest. All hip hop. But Q - Tip is an amazing rapper. I love him.
