Lisa Mitchell is playing at The Soundlounge in Currumbin, Gold Coast. If you are around, you should definately come to this show. Seriously, Lisa is going to blow up big time, but in a good way! I cannot wait for it to happen, honestly she is fucking amazing. I love her! This is sounding like a press release ha ha, I just love her and she is going to be massive and she writes amazing, beautiful, magical music and her voice sends shivers down my spine. I am so excited for tonight, dead set yeehaw. She is not going to be playing venues like this for much longer, I'm telling you come next year she will be selling out venues like Enmore and The Tivoli (not trying to put pressure on you Lisa, I love you) You should get excited. We should all be excited. I cannot wait.
Yes, I am in a good mood. Have been writing and really clearing my head and starting to get better than I have been. I am only just getting used to life off tour, even though I find myself in a fucking airport every weekend...I know who to thank for that don't I? Enough being passive aggressive, yes let's all smile now. It's okay I guess but sometimes you just want to lock away and go to somewhere magical. JAPAN. 25 days, so excite, so excite. I am going to embark on a spiritual journey and am going to watch the Japanese Rockabilly guys dance in the park. It is the most amazing thing that I have seen, these big group of guys all with tight black jeans, pointy cowboy boots and MASSIVE QUIFFS twisting to Rock and Roll music. Amazing. Better yet, it is going to be winter over there...snow time....yay! Magical? I think yes. Like that movie Fern Gully - the rainforest is so magical. I am going to find that place in a few weeks.
Okay I am sounding crazy, dellusional whatever. But all is good. I'm just excited cause I finally get to see Lisa Mitchell live...check her out and decide for yourself and hopefully I will see you at the show.
