OP To Play Leeds and Reading

Operator Please, currently undertaking their first national tour to support the EP Cement Cement, are set to impress UK audiences when they play the forthcoming Leeds and Reading Festivals.

Operator Please will play the famous Carling Stage at Leeds on Friday 24 and Reading on Sunday 26 August, alongside the likes of The Hold Steady and Peter Bjorn and John, to name a few. The festivals this year are a boon for live music fans with the Main Stages featuring the likes of Kings Of Leon, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Interpol.

Operator Please has already made considerable inroads into the UK market, having spent the month of April there playing shows and shooting a video with acclaimed director James Price (Shitdisco) for their forthcoming new single. NME has embraced them, instigating a feature story and photo shoot with band and reviewing their live shows, “F*ck rock and let Operator Please re-write the book…”. Influential radio shows such as BBC 1’s Jo Whiley, BBC’s Zane Lowe, Queens Of Noize and XFM Radio are all behind the band, spinning the single “Ping Pong” on regular rotation.

Check out today's 'Daily Telegraph' for a feature on the band.
